Bio.

I consider myself to be a passionate flutist and dedicated private music instructor, based in San Diego, CA.

I began playing flute at 12 years old, and developed a deep love of music ever since. Throughout my childhood, I participated in school band as a Drum Major, and was a proud member of the San Diego Youth Symphony.

I am currently finishing my senior year at San Diego State University, pursuing a degree in Flute Performance. For the past three years at SDSU I have studied under Pamela Martchev, gone on tour to San Francisco and Las Vegas, performed with orchestras, bands, and chamber ensembles, given solo recitals, and had the pleasure of working with guest artists such as John Mackey and Jocelyn Hagen.

In 2022, I joined the MUSE Academy of Music as a private flute and beginner piano instructor. Over the years, I have assisted my students prepare for recitals, auditions, and local competitions. My main goal for my students is to offer them a safe space to grow, not only as a musician, but as a person. I make sure to encourage positive self talk and healthy habits.

In the summer of 2023, I had the opportunity to further my education at the Complete 21st Century  Flutist: The Global Artist in Mondovi, Italy. At this program I worked with renowned flutists such as Marina Piccinini, Rena Urso, Heather Clarke, Fiorella Andriani, Andrea Fisher, and Adriana Ferreira.
